STP Unit 1: Leadership and Motivation

Unit #1 will describe the value of effective supervision of workers and improve the construction supervisor’s ability to lead and motivate others.

Topics will include:

• Leadership skills in action
• The dollars and sense of people in construction
• Helping people perform better
• Motivating and leading others
• Training and orienting crew members
• Team building and more.

Leadership and Motivation is for Superintendents and foremen, People who aspire to become superintendents and foremen, estimators, project managers, supervisors who work for subcontractors, safety directors, field engineers, expeditors, and training directors.

Cost:  $210 per person for AGC/ECA/NESCA Members; $260 per person for Non-members.

This course will meet for seven (7) Thursdays at the Building Industry Center (6 Airline Drive):  October 24, 31 November 7, 14, 21, December 5 and 12, 2019
